Sweet Pork Chops

I've been craving for pork, especially pork chops, for the last few days. So, I went and buy four pork chops (two for the hubs, two for me) and got ready to convince the hubs to help me out.

We went and gathered everything we needed:
  • 4 pork chops (regular, not smoked)
  • Season All  to taste (around 1/2 tbsp for both sides of four chops)
  • 3 tbsp marmalade (peach works great, apricot too. I used guayaba with jamaica. Try to use a flavor that is bittersweet)
  • dash of seasoning Maggi sauce
  • 1/2 tsp vegetable oil

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.

Season one side of the chops with season all. I'm making a pair of bittersweet chops and a pair of regular.

Regular Chops
For the regular chops you will be needing only Season All, so make sure you use enough.

Place them on the skillet at low heat. And then turn them over.

Now cover them for 7 minutes...

... and remove from heat.

Bittersweet Chops
For the bittersweet you will use Season All on both sides. Once you place them on the first side for 5 minutes, turn them over and add a dash of seasoning Maggi Sauce.

Take the marmalade.

And top each chop with 1.5 tbsp of marmalade.

Cover for 3 minutes so marmalade will heat and kind-of-melt.

Spread the marmalade.

Turn them over.

Yum.
